Default timing belt?

a buddy of mine is putting a y8 vtec head on a a6 block and we cant seem to find which belt we need. the a6 is to loose, and the y8 belt is to tight. havent tried the z6 yet, but just incase that dont work what is your opinions on this.

The y8 and z6 are the same, just the prices are different for some reason..And they do work but they're very very tight..
The d15b7(92-95 dx) belt is the perfect one for this..
