Default coilovers vs springs

coilovers allow you to adjust your rides height, springs do practically the same thing but doesnt let you adjust it to what specific ride height you want. springs have better comfort, and coilovers are more stiff. question is if your looking for a nice lowered car look, and with superb handling whats best to go with?

what makes springs more "comfortable?" you can get custom spring rates on coilovers like ground controls. what's going to make one more comfortable than the other with the same rates?
