1997 honda civic dx coupe, 150000mi, greddy catback exhaust, turbo kit, fresh out the body shop primed and ready for paint. good deal?

I second that. You don't know if there's any problems with the t-kit or for how long it's been turboed. Especially at 150,000 miles.

get that ****. people ALWAYS say they wouldnt buy someone else`s project but if the price is right then you will buy anything i dont care what anyone says. that price is right. go ahead and get it.

i would go for it. Just make sure to check the car over or have a mechanic do it. Sounds like a good deal. Also check the turbo to see if he is running a big back system or stand alone engine managment. There is a lot info on these cars just know what you could be getting into.
Consider the source too and why they are selling their car.

i would rather buy somethin' thats a bit more expensive and not messed with, than buy somethin' dirt cheap and havin' to pay more in the long run just to maintain it or fix things that the old owner screwed up on.

but i suppose if you get it checked by a mechanic and if the deal's good enough...why not.
