Default Comptech goodies and rear window

Hey fellaz, I just got two questions, first: I hear a lot of good stuff about comptech bolt ons, my question to you is, are comptech goodies as good as they are made out to be, and do they effect smog? My second question is, is it possible to convert the 00-01 soft window to the hard window for the convertible top? Thanks guys!

i believe that a majority of all/ or ALL comptech parts are smog compatible because of the carb e.o #'s. Comptech stuff is pretty dank for the money. As for your second question yes, it is possible to change the soft window convertible top to a glass window convertible top

I had a feeling that the rear window conversion was feasible, i called a honda dealer in my area and the service dept said that it was not possible. Does it require a lot of work to convert it to glass?

comptech is good for the money...

youl need a new softop and frame to get the glass unless you mod your current frame...

what do you think is more cost effective, moding the existing soft top and frame, or getting a new one (if you [or anyone] knows the price range as well that would be very helpful)

easiest, qickest, painless would be just buying a new top. i think the run between 800-900 bucks?? correct me if i'm wrong.

I'd get a hard top if thats an option. After the new top purchase and installation (if not doing work yourself). I think the hard top might be more cost efficient.
