Default ITB's on j32a2 possible?

Well guys I am looking for my next project and since I already have the motor and 6speed this seemed like a fun project. I am wondering if anyone would know where I could source some ITBs that I could use on a 6cyl from a cl type s. let me know if anyone has any good ideas. thanks in advance
David

i think you'd have to go custom and get a hilborn/kinsler style set up. sticking straight up out of the hood. space is kinda tight.

Not really when the upper plenum is removed and I could have curved runners so they would sit no higher than the IM

that's true. and you could hook up the throttle linkage on the driver side. it would be nice.

Exactly what I was thinking of doing. The only Problem I am having is trying to source some itbs that I would be able to use. I wonder if it would be possible to use some from say a gsxr 750/1000 or 954rr and then just remove one of the tb's and then go from there? What do you think. I have worked a good bit with bikes that have then, but I and not sure if it is possible to make them work with my current application. Needless to say it is something that I think would be extremely interesting to try. Let me know what you think.

i would think you would NEED them to stick out the hood to have enough length on them to make their best power....

If I build them they will be ending right where the manifold ends now. Plus the lower plenum is long so length is a non issue.

would you be optimizing the length or just throwing them on to look good?

Well they are an inline setup and they would be very hard to make work with the honda ecu I am betting. I think I will use the GSXR ones and get those to work.

Wouldn't that be inline vs V? There be some mod'ing involved for that. Just supercharge it, lol.

Well that would be an option, but I am curious on trying something new and different. it is my curse I guess.

aren't there NSXs running ITBs out there. I would think that IM setups are about the same.

Well that is a Cblock and I don't think it would exactly line up. Plus they would be very hard to find and extremely expensive since they are not a factory item.

you could always run the itb's on a j-series like a 300zx intake manifold's runners. seems like the easiest route.

It would be easier to just use the lower runners of the manifold I have.
