I would hope that you didn't pit your paint or anything from that...I am sure that hitting butterflies at 130 is more detrimental than rocks or sand at 60...so I hope that your paint is ok underneath there....good luck.

Speaking from experience... bugs at triple digit speeds DO pit your paint and generally make a permanent mess.
Fugg it... nothing lasts forever.
V. - who has chips and pits in his paint and windshield from those NC bugs...

i got it beat, i once drove through a swarm of locusts in a miata, top was down at first until i got pegged by one at 60mph, felt like a rock, i don't even want to go into how the radiator smelled afterwards, burned grasshopper

well i have not washed my r since i got it in march of 2000, so I don't think leaving the bugs will do any noticable damage. I'm kidding. She gets a full detail 5 times a month
I love my job. I come to work, park my ride, it gets detailed and parked agian. Only 115 buckaroos a month + tips. Best thing ever.

...i would also recommend cleaning out the radiator and sum nice polish!!!
