FS/WTT:Tastefully modded 1996 Volkswagen Jetta GLX milwaukee area
Just put on ATE powerslot rotors and greenstuff pads. Also a new Beru coilpack and blue ignitors plugwires going on tomorrow!!!! Smoked ecode headlights going on soon!! will also trade for an ef or eg hatch with a b-series swap
138k mostly highway miles
lots of new parts (performance and maintenence);
head gasket at ~90k
battery at 93k
clutch & pressure plate at ~95k
the timing chains at ~100k (big deal on VR6 motors)
the transmission at ~110k
the belt tensioner and belt at 121k
all fluids flushed (except brake)
I have taken great care of the car since i bought it in march but unfortunately i need some money for school. it has had mobil 1 oil changes with oem filters since i got it and it has been washed once or twice a week since i got it up until recently. as for mods it has;
Autotech 262* cams
giac cam chip
cold air intake
weitec gt coilovers
strut tower bar
gti front end
stage 4 turn 2 motor mounts
falken ziex ze512 tires with less than 3000 miles on them
Freshly painted de wheels with 3 coats of silverstone gray and 2 coats of clear
eclipse stereo (i dont remember the model number off hand)
the body isnt perfect, it has some hail damage on the hood and the roof but i have repainted the hood, grill, rear quarters, and trunk lid due to a minor accident it had with the previous owner that i am fixing better than it was before. im not sure if i really want to sell it yet as it is a solid car with a solid engine. it really is a great driver with many more miles left under its belt, but if someone makes me the right offer i will probably let it go. Price lowered!!!! 5400ish obo or 6000 with the p&p cylinder head. if you have any questions dont hesitate to give me an im or shoot me and email.
