itr swap problem on 2000si jumper harness problem? need help! bloomslang problems
2000 civic si- got a jdm 96-97spec type r swap with the obd2a p73 ecu. put the 2000 civic si harness on the itr motor and bought a bloomslang jumper harness for obd2b-obd2a so i could use the p73. when i try to start it itdoes not want to fire up and when its cranking the speedo gauge starts bounceing and the is a buzzing noise coming form the passenger side, and also the check engine light is on but is like super dim like its no even supose to be on. when i take the jumper harness off and put the 2000 si ecu in it starts but runs really poor because it throws a crank sensor code and oil pressure sensor code but thats a no brainer because the itr swap doesnt come with crank sensor or oil pressure switch. i get no other code besides those 2. i go and plug the p73 ecu into a 98 civic 5 speed the thing fires up no problem with no codes. sent the harness back to boomslang and he insists there is nothing wrong with the harness and its my error. what the hell is my problem here?
