Default GSR in EF - Tranny Troubles

I have a 95 GSR longblock and 89 JDM LSD SI tranny in my EF.

My motor is running perfect....the tranny however is messing up...

The tranny goes through gears fine when the motor is not on. When its on it wont let me into gear.

The throw out bearing, clutch, pp is perfect. The fork and cables are not bent.

I tried adjusting the cable but it still won't let me into gear. I played with the cable for a good hour. Tightening and lossing it trying to test it.

The shift linkage is hasport with enegry suspension bushings.

Everything is installed perfectly....could the LSD in my tranny be fucked up not letting me into gear when the motor is on??? It is hard for me to find nuetral when just shifting through gears when the motor is off. When on...the only thing there is is nuetral...I can't notch it into gear ...it just slides back and forth in nuetral. I can't go into any gear or feel any notches for the gears.

Is my LSD locked up causing this?

get under the car, disconnect the shift linkage from the trany and try if you can shift right at the trany. Let us know the results.

I did that before putting the tranny on the longblock and it shifted foward and backward...I don't really know which way to push/pull it to select a gear. As listed above...It does go through the gears when the motor is off.

Just try it now with the motor and trany installed. So, if you want to shift it into the 1st gear, it's as if you where shifting into 2nd...

Really sounds like you need to adjust your cable. Did you tighten and loosen it all the way? Or just a couple turns?

I have played with the cable for an hour as I said up top. Loosened all the way and tightened all the way...no difference.. The fork moves without problem.

if the fork moves I would assume the car is shifting fine... weird... interested in finding out what is wrong with this car... I would take the cable out and tighten it all of the way with it off the fork, and then reinstall it and pull as hard on the clutch cable as you can up while you tighten it down... That's what I had to do to get it tightened right

What clutch cable are you using.? The stock one,,?I know if you get a 90-93 integra cable you have more adjustability compared to the stock one..

Also does it go into gear while the car is off with the clutch not de-pressed.? It should go into every gear without the clutch pushed in..

I think it is a faulty LSD causing the problem.
Tranny is getting looked at today.
