Default Faster wear on right front?

I am having accelerated, even wear accross my right front. I assume it's the old right on red, hard on the gas routine. The limited slip seems to grab very hard in these situations.

An observations?

"Right on red" would load the left front, no?

Not sure about the wear, you been doing any NASCAR races?

I think that most of the load on right hand turns would be on the right front tire becuase that is what is holding most of the weight of the car through the turn. Your alignment could be a bit off or you could just be taking some hard left handers or something like that...who knows?

You mean the non-adjustable camber?

Check your pressures and make sure everything is even.

But, in general Yes it has worn a little more on the inside or my right front tire as well. I went to my R club meet and found that almost all other R's have this same trait.

Good luck,

Adjustable camber? Damn why didn't mine come with that stock?

Load on the left tires, yes. Maximum torque on the inside (traveling the shorter distance) is what I was thinking. If the diff was locked, the inside tire should wear faster, I would think. Although the ITR diff isn't locked, it sure throws down some serious torque anywhere it can...

Watch out Fuzzy Nut is bored again...

Oh and BTW Fuzzy, I noticed the same thing on your tires as well J/K. But, seriously I did specifically check all the cars at the last meet. It seems that most of them had the same occurance. Most of the guys didn't realize it but, I was looking for it specifically.

Now, did you sell those Gawd aweful rims yet ?

I know, I noticed it on your tires too at the last meet. I have not found a conclusive answer yet but, I am still looking.

BTW, Edwin how did you like that run with Dave at the Meadowlands? Ready to try it yourself?

And aren't you ready for replacement tires as well?

Later E.
