Swapped an obd1 JDM d15b in my 1996 civic ex, using the stock y8 harness and am still on the y8 ecu, upon starting it up for the first time, the revs climbed to 4500 and kept idle there. Everytime I start it the revs maintained at 4500, could this be caused by the missing knock sensor that the obd2 ecu is looking for? Please help! I so close to getting the car running and I hope this is the last problem.

maybe u have a manifold leak i have the same problem kick it out.
