Time to upgrade the brakes (or at least do some maintanence) for my street-driven '00 Civic (b18) and am looking for some suggestions. I do have a 99 integra front brake setup (calipers and rotors only). Should I:
1. Do rear disc conversion and replace all stock rotors, pads, lines, fluid all around
or
2. Buy Fastbrake upgrade to 11" front rotors kit (already have Integra calipers) with new rotors, pads, lines, & fluid
or
3. Your suggestion?
Any comments would be cool. I'm not trying to spend more than 3-4 bills and want to use Integra parts if possible. I also don't need an insane setup since it is mostly street driven and I don't have ABS.

X2. Pretty much what I did on my EK. Rear disc conversion from a GSR and then stainless steel lines, hawk pads and HOP fluid. Make sure to get the Si porportioning valve as well to replace the current drum/rotor one. You don't need a new M/C if you have an EX. If you have and LX/DX/CX you need to use the EX or Si M/C.

Your #1 sounds ample enough. I just had my CX brakes swapped for Integra brakes all around. Stops at the drop of a dime. Get some Brembo Blanks while you're at it.

thanks, appreciate the help guys. Is there a big difference in stopping via GSR front setup (10.3") and stock DX setup (9.5")? I do have the front GSR calipers but I know I'd need rotors, front knuckles, etc to run them.
Yeah it's a big difference due to larger rotors and bigger calipers. Be sure to upgrade the brake master cylinder if you do a front brake upgrade like said above.

AFAIK using GSR front calipers would require either fastbrakes kit or GSR front knuckles & assembly. Is that correct? Think I read somewhere that front GSR setup may cause camber issues? anyone experience that?
