CV (constant Velocity) Joints usually start as a rythmic click while turning and gradually progress to a snapping noise when turning.

Really, I should be asking first; What noise are you hearing? , rather than volunteer anything. After all, I'm not clairvoiant and have no idea which of about two dozen distinct noises you could be talking about.
Discribe it and tell us when it does it.

And the cruise?
does it make an attempt to engage?
No responce at all?
Any warning lamps on?

no clicking i think it is the rotors because when i brake it does the same thing as when im going slow and its not really a noise its more something i feel on my feet and no the cruise doesnt even attempt to grab i hit the cruise button on the steering wheel and the kight will come on but thats it.

Try pulling up the clutch pedal with your foot while trying to engage the cruise. Then try the brake pedal. You could have a switch out of adjustment or a pedal thats not returning properly.

It's time to inspect the brakes.

I suspect the rotors require remachining. They have warped (for one reason or the other) and are no longer running true. They will often sound like a pulsating squeek. If this noise is constant; I'd suspect the Pad wear sensors are rubbing or you've caught a stone between the Rotor and it's rear dust shield.

amckee is correct, both those switches can cause the Cruise Control not to engage
if they are not adjusted properly. It's usually a pretty bullet-proof system (left alone it doesn't fail). Check the two switches for proper adjustment. A size 11 1/2 DD shoe may have roamed around under there during a prior session.
