heater core hose firewall to engine
do i need to buy the honda molded one or can i buy the hose by the foot and connect it? also what size am i looking for if i can buy it by the foot?

The universal hose will work...and Yes they sell it by the foot..
The American equivalent is 5/8" inside diameter..
