Accord smoking
Alright, if you have seen the other posts I have put up then you know whats up. For those who haven't, here is a quick over view. Stock F23A4 - 2000 Accord Lx Vtec, sprayed it and blew the valves to s**t. I bought a new head and replaced it. All is good except it sounds like its missin a little, which I am sure I may be off a tooth on the timing. My biggest concern is how rich it is running. White smoke for a little while then goes away. But, if you put your hand on my exhaust, it comes out drippin with fuel. How can I fix this? Its a stock motor, no adjustable anything. What do I do to fix it?
Thanks for any help.

did you check the replacement head to make sure it was within specs? Sounds like you got a coolant leak if you are puffing white smoke....
Is your timing right?
Do you have a leaky injector?
I would get an oil analisys done as well
are the rings still good?

For what I know the rings are fine. It didn't start puffing white until the new head was put on. Yeah, I think the timing is just barely off, will be fixed hopefully today. As for coolant leaks, none seen so not sure. I just wish I knew why it is running so rich right now.
There is a company called "Blackstone Labratories" that will send you a kit for oil analysis for like 20 bucks. I send them a sample every other oil change and they have helped me identify trouble before it was too late on several of my vehicles.

Hope you find the the root cause of your trouble, these guys were a big help. They can even identify diferent metal types to determine if a ring, bearing etc. is going bad. They will ask you all the right questions!
