yea... just pulled my plugs to check for detonation or anything else.. insted i found oil on the threads of my plugs just the threads nothing on the tip ... common sense says oil shouldnt be there . does anyone know where the oil is comming from or other common problems leading to oily plugs

 

Could just be your spark plug gaskets. Thats the first thing to check, and is the best case scenario (and also most likely depending on the conditions).

 

yeah i had that problem before, oil all over the plug threads.. I was so worried my motor was going.. .. I changed the 4 spark plug gaskets when i did my valve adjustment and it went away.. they look like 4 small black donut looking gaskets.. take off your valve cover and flip it over.. and you should see them...

 

i hadnt thought of that. ill give it a try.

if its on your threads, it could also be your rings.
