Default AEM dry flow filter for accord

i have a 99 accord v6 and i have aem v2 intake with orginal filter, then i changed my filter to the new dry flow aem filter, the dry flow filter fits but doen'st go in as far as the orginal one, is that gonan be a problem?....im sure i have the right size

why did u change or original Air AEM filter? first of all?

as long as it goes in far enough for it to clamp down, and fit in the bay (or bumper depending on weithor it is a short ram or CAI), you'll be fine.
