Default Accord locked door

My door is locked and it is shut and it can't be opened inside or outside with or without key. Door handle feels loose and key turns but door still stays shut. What could be wrong with it? I took door panel off to see what is wrong but everything looks like it should be and it still will not open. Would i have to break the lock off the door connecting to the car? or is there something else i can do?

The year and model trim and all that would help.. try just going threw the passenger or back door and opening it like that, if it still doesnt open then it has something to do with the inside of the door.. and u would have to take the door panel off, but with out the door being open thast kinda difficult if not impossible.

other then that i couldnt tell ya what to do if u cant get your door open no matter what.. im sure some of these honda gurus can help ya.

Someone may have tried slim-jimming the car and damaged the linkage in the door............

ya if anything, they probably just took the metal piece out that connects the handles to open the door, that or broke the plastic piece that connects it *shrugs*

like i was saying it would be easier to know if u can some how get the door panel off

this is ghetto but might work.

open trunk, lay seat down, crawl through hole. get inside, open passenger door

then fix driver door

I was thinking, if u cant get the door open.. then just unscrew the handle inside the car should be a phillips screw and then pop it off and if there is a long mettal piece hooked to it by a little plastic piece then u are good on that, unless it got disconnectd on the other side, in which case u would have to take the whole door pannel.. However if the plastic piece is broken or the metal piece isnt connected just do that and it should work..

My '97 CD7 (coupe) has the fold-down rear seat, as does your's I'm sure. Is there what looks like a key lock on the rear speaker tray behind the rear seat? That's one of your seat releases.
