stock b16 + turbo + EF = uber fast. my point being you should be able to get your car to the point you want it without builing the motor. unless you want to be crazy fast

i dont really see the point in stroking a motor...if you want more displacement, then buy it to begin with.

trust me when i say 300 hp in a crx or hatch is FAST. its so much that i rarely get to even see the power. just do the swap and enjoy it. then turbo it and try to enjoy it without getting a speeding ticket (which is very hard).

EDIT: 500 post ownage

I daily a car that is faster then any stock bolt on kit b16 boosted.
I have 0 tickets ever.
If you really want big power yes you'll need to go bigger.

A b16 boosted stock guts don't expect to see 300 out of.

It seems as though you are sketchy on what actually happens when an engine blows up.

To answer you question specifically no, you can probably have close to 300whp with a good tune and it should hold up just fine. And if you decide you want even more power, you can build it later.

You can get 300 out of a stock block b16. I haven't full read this thread yet, but im sure there are some in there: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1365747

And, btw, a b17 = a stroked b16

I see problems in putting that power to the road. My friend always roasted his all season tires in 1st and sometimes in 2nd when he had a DOHC ZC with 8-9 PSI, estimated 200 HP. Without drag slicks on the front I don't think it would be possible on a 400HP car.

It truly doesn't take that much to get our cars going. I think you would be surprised at what it can do with 200-250 HP.

I hear that... I'm building an all motor ls/vtec with itb's, and a super lightweight rotating mass.

BIG REVS + BIG POWER = FUN

You can keep the turbo.

I'll be running 16 gt3 rotas with the nitto drag radial at 225-50-16
