cool, thanks eurrrbody..lol
anyway, i can't find aircraft stripper locally, so i used this automotive paint stripper **** that diden't work good at all. so i've been sanding the clearcoat off by hand with 150grit (pain in the ***). after that, i use wet sand paper, starting with 600 to 800, 1000,1500,2000. then start to buff it with mothers metel polish. i'm doing all of this by hand so it's taking me a while.

Keep at it dude. You're on the right track! I did the same to my RSX wheels a while ago and my arms felt like they were gonna fall off. Good job!

wow, thanks everybody, i just finished the first rim, started at 7pm and ended at 12pm. here's how it turned out but i still need to do the lip

Looks great! Pay careful attention to the fine scratches though, you'll have to do that area all over again from 600 if they dont come out, but then it will look damn clean. What are you going to use to protect them? Spray on clearcoats are pretty crappy so you might have to look for something different
aye if you can't find the aircraft remover. goto the hardware store and get some JASCO. that stuff is way better, comes in a yellow with red writing tin can. and you pour it out instead of spraying. i used them on my hx's and then painted them white. keep up the good work. DIY'ers
