Default Odd;MY02 S2k for 32+k on eBay

just thought this was odd, granted it has low miles but for the price you could have an 06...i could see if it was a MY00 with low miles fetching nice cash because it was the first year and all, but it's not...go figure

Thats good news. I'm tired of seeing all these low prices on cars for sale. These arnt civics or integras. I'd like to see them hold their value like the NSX and Type-R.

Production numbers on the S2000 are wayyyyyy higher than those models and I'd expect to see them drop in value accordingly.

Understandable, but it still could be considered an exception if sellers would stop selling for so low.

something is wrong there for sure! the reserve isn't even met at the $32k. The bidder is insane and so is the seller.

A 2002 S2000 can be purchased for about $20k.

agreed, I'm calling B.S. What dumbass would pay 32k for a car they don't even have pics of? And on top of that, it's an 02.

It probably has special racing headlights, and a racing shifter too. And maybe special racing brakes????

Will post pics when it arrives. He leaves on buisness and won't have it till he returns.

Was considering the Boxster aswell but the price sealed it, that and its a much better drive.

Looked at one today at another Honda dealer, '00 with 46K $20,700.

I feel the exact same way. I'm trying to sell mine right now and I'm taking a way bigger hit on the S2k than i did when I sold my R . Why is the S2k depreciating so bad?

because ur R was a rare car the s2000 isn't as easy to come by as say a civic or integra but easier to find than an R

Also, the starting price on the NSX is much higher which is relevant why they go for the prices seen.
