Well I just picked up an Eg from Vermont and the car pops out of gear when I am not pushing the gas. If I push really hard into gear and let off the gas, it will stay, but I have to push really hard. Any suggestions on what is causing this? Also the radio keeps asking me for a code when I put it on. How do I get rid of this? It is a stock honda eg cassette player with am/fm radio. I want to know how to get it to work.

If you dont have the radio code im pretty sure there is a way to have it decoded, looking online i have seen a few places that can give you the number if you give them the model and serial number.

 

try changing your tranny oil that might help...the radio try calling Honda they might give you the number...thats what my friend did

 

usually when it pops out of gear its a clutch type problem
