yeah, check your valve cover gaskets, if that doesnt work, check the crank sensors to see if they got contaminated...

well if it were bad rings, it wouldnt be "alittle oily" it would be alot on the tips of the plugs, valve cover seals would be oil on the top part of the plugs.. is it boggin or just missfiring, cuz my car was acting all wierd.. and all it was, was the rotor in the dizzy.. just didnt fit on snug.. 6 bux fixed all the problems..

check the distributor and make sure its working properly. pull the cap off and check for corrosion were the #3 cylinder wire goes.

the plug is a alittle oily i have checked athe dizzy even tryed a new dizzy off the same car that was working fine and still has the same problem i dont get it this is why i think the rings are bad because im not sure if they is maybe enough compression in that one piston im going to do a compressipon check today and see but im all out of ideas. i even try new injectors on it from a 94 and still the same problem i rewired the orginals back on and then problem still occured im about to ripe the motor out and redew it if the compression is below a 120 its should be anywhere between 125 min. and 185 max. for a single cam motor but if you have any other ideas please feed in thanks guys

ok i check the comp[ression and every cyl. had a total of 187 psi and 2 had 202 or something like that but number 3 cyl only had 65psi so come to find out the piston rings are bad for that one cyl. probably blew out when my bro sucked some water into the motor and cause it to stall the one time. so im going to do a quick rebuild on it thanks guy for all the help hope these adds help others with ideas to fix ??? misfires. thanks.....
