Default amp going into protect mode help!!!

ok here is the deal i have a lighting audio amp i belive it's the 400 watt, i know its a 2 channel. ok so here is the deal i used to have 2 12's hooked up to it not briged and it worked fine but now i have one 12 hooked to it and when i turn it up on the deck its gose into protect mode. i have tried to adjust all of the settings and checked all wiringand its all good it only blows when briged i am useing low level inputs and my amp wire is 0 gauge any idea why this is happening i cant figure it out. thanks guys

sounds like your getting clipping by having the gain set too high. or, one of your connections is incorrect, like the the positive speaker wire is touching the negative speaker wire some place.

im gonna have to say the same thing.. try turning the gains down.. use volume before you start upping the gain. lightning audio amplifiers are pretty much a joke, so id also invest in a better amplifer.. and a better sub at that.
