How much for new Wheel bearing?

Default How much for new Wheel bearing?

i never had to fix wheel bearing before so i would like to know what is an avereage price that the shop would charge to get wheel bearing fixed. will this affect my driving, having wheel bearing problem? Thanks.

Well its about $75 for the bearing from the dealership and about $40-$50 from a parts store. Labor is anywhere from $75-$100 an hour.

HAHA... that is the funniest thing i have heard in a while

but also i need a new wheel bearing in the rear driver side would it be easier/cheaper if got a whole new rear hub( i think that what that is called) or shouls i just get a new bearing bring it to the shop????

I got both my front ones replaced. According to my spread sheet it was $530. I think I made a typo because I'm pretty sure it was more in the $400 range. I'll have to check the bill next time I'm back home.

well on my car its a constant rubbing noise but at highway speeds it starts pulsating it gets annoying. i also need mine replace and was quoted $120 canadian for bearing and labour from a mechanic friend

well, the bearing itself is about 60 or so U.S. currency, so I'd say $120 Canuck Bucks is a decent deal.
