Can anyone do a write-up on how to install a JDM ITR center console (climate control, shift boot console, cup holder, ashtray/cigarette lighter, air vent) on to a DC2?

I tried searching, but came up with nothing
I'm guessing this has been discussed before, but if anyone would be able to do a write up, it would be greatly appreciated. I purchased a center console about two weeks ago and since I purchased it from online, I'm worried that it may not work...I really want to test and see if these work...

Any help would be great!

the shift boot console does not fit in usdm integras.

 

You have to use the USDM ITR center console to fit our teg's.
But the climate control should work, cup holder, and maybe the left air vent.
If you look at the 2 side by side you can see how it doesnt fit.
One curves to the left / one curves to the right.

 

Can anyone enlighten me with instructions on how to install them?

you cant. The climate control will work and that is about it. The bend of the RHD is the opposite of our LHD cars. Even if you changed everything and actually got it to bolt up the bend would be wrong.

The climate control is not too hard to remove, you have to take off the hazard and defrost switched, behind them are a couple of screws. Take the screws out and slide the console out, now you have to try and disconnect the wire harness(2), then you have to unhook the control cable. I unhooked mine from the blower, then pulled the entire thing out.

So does that mean that I wouldn't be able to install the cup holder and ashtray/cig lighter? Would I be able to install those pieces onto a USDM DC2? I noticed that the cig lighter/ashtray are opposite from the USDM, so I was wondering...

i bought the whole center console and it does not fit my car. the only thing that fit was the climate control. the cup holder will also fit.

 

You can put the shift boot on too. Only the boot though, so if it's black with red stitch, you can switch it with your black one.

Only ur climate control will fit(flip over the hazard and defrost buttons), the cup holder, and the shift boot will fit.

While the ashtray/cigarette ligther and shifter surround console....you're outta luck there.

 

Do you guys know if the left air vent will work ?

if i buy a jdm climate control and have to switch the bottons, when i push the defoster it will turn on the hazards? and when i push the hazards it will turn on the defoster?

or just leave them alone?

Also the ashtray and cup holder from either US/JDM works ? but the cig lighter doesnt.

 

What do you have to do to make the JDM itr cluster work on our 98+ integras?
