Default designing bandpass boxes

i would like to design and build my own bandpass box but have heard that to get the right volume takes quite a bit of math calculations which i have no clue of. anyone know of a user friendly program that can accomplish this task? i have tried several programs in the past (name, blaupunkt, ect...) without luck. they all had too many user variables that i don't understand. i just want one where i can simply plug in the perameters of the speaker and it would produce the desired results. any help would be appreciated.

first you have to make sure your speaker would work in a bandpass. some dont work in that type of enclosure. also a bandpass enclosure if less forgiving if built wrong. most are bulky. why not try a ported enclosure?

i found this program called WinISD which is pretty cool. really. it's even got a build-in signal generator for testing speakers. and it's free! got a data base for most popular subs. check it out. only problem is it doesn't have a metric to standard conversion. is there a better enclosure design program out there - free or not - let me know.
