Default EJ door handle question.

So, my neighbor's car got stolen last night, but I guess it serves them right considering they leave their car unlocked with the windows half-cracked everynight.

Anyway, since I've already had my car broken into twice, and the viper 791 alarm doesn't seem to discourage them, I'm kinda weary about what my neighborhood's turning into. I'm looking into gettin some sedan rear door handles. I've searched and haven't found anything really conclusive to what I wanna know, but if I get these and install them, will my door locks still work fine through the remote on my car alarm?

Thanks
.C

the sedan rear door handle will not fit in the front, one bolt dosent line up.
if your car has power locks you should unhook the metal thing that locks and unlocks the door using the key. it is behind the door panel, you just take it off the clip. so when you turn the key your doors wont lock/unlock. just make sure you can climb through your trunk if something goes wrong.
this is what i did and i also disconnect the switch that locks and unlocks the door. near the twetters

Yeah, I have power everything. Did you do this on a civic though or an accord? There's gotta be a way to do it, I've seen it done before. I just wanna know if the alarm will still work my lock.

yep...had 4 door rear handles on 00 coupe, fit in just fine, and security locked/unlocked the doors fine, never a problem. looks a lot better too. like a shaved keyhole. lol.

Rear 4 door handles from an EG will also work on the front of an EJ coupe. That's what I'm going with mine.

It works, but if someone wants your stuff, they wont hesitate to beak a window. Mine? 2000 ex coupe, mostly stock, stolen twice within two weeks. If they want it, they've got it
