5 speed manual, the tranny either will not go into 2nd gear or if it does, it will soon pop out of gear,

There is also a rough grinding sound from the tranny while the engine is idling.

My question to you is, How much at worst do you think I'll spend on the rebuid?

And how much longer do you think i can drive on it?
