o2 sensor question

i gutted my cat and i was jus wondering if i could run the sensor wires to the other one will that make the check engine light go out

im guessing you mean wire the up stream and down stream together is so, no you cant they do two diff things

You can't do that. Get an O2 simulator off ebay for like $10 and it'll fix your problem.

pick up an O2 simulator and be done with it.
If you connect the two signal lines together to run off the primaroy O2 sensor your CEL will come on.
