shiftboot in my auto tranny'd car :[
hey everyone. im forced to drive around in an auto tranny civic but i love the look that the manual cars have mainly for the shiftboot. i was wondering if i could put this:
into the shifter area. can you just take it apart and put that boot in? i notice there are two clips where it may hold. thanks!

-pull out black rubber shifter trim
-wedge boot (sans metal bracket) in the space between plastic and shifter plate
-replace rubber trim
-amaze your friends.

not a wedgeboot.....wedge THE shiftboot. don't worry about breaking anything, there's 1 piece of rubber.
i also forgot the part where you have to remove/replace the auto shift ****, but it's one screw, on the driver's side of the ****.

i'm not sure what you're looking for here. there's seriously like 5 steps to achieve the funk fakin'
again:
-remove shift ****
-remove rubber trim between the shifter and plastic
-wedge the shift boot in the space between the shifter and plastic
-put the rubber thing back in
-put the shift **** back on
done.
