Default The story of my valve cover *a bus load of pixxx*

So I had a dream and it involved those RPS "rock star" paintballs. I thought those looked cool and Id try to do my valve cover in a similiar fashion because it sucked before. So a buddy of mine and I tackled the task, and heres a quick timeline of it.

Me beginning the work in the freezing temps of Buffalo

The before shot

Removing it

Off

Shaved and sanded

The funky spark plug cover

The funky spark plug cover fixed

Primed for smoothness check

Base coat, didnt dry right. Redid it

Brought inside for taping up, friend helping

Started

I painted the spark plug cover first, to see how it would look. And continued on

All stars done. TOTALLED 192 stars

First top coat

2nd top coat on and dried. I begin the painstaking task to peel away all stickers

Done for today

I plan to sand the Honda Motor Co. and bring that back. I was going to put the cover back on the car, but Im too tired and will do it tomorrow.

Comments, flames, lets hear it

you could have put vaseline on the letters "honda motor company" and then just wiped the paint off after it was dry..

and i think you should have reversed the colors on the spark plug cover...gave it some contrast

Did you use any aircraft stripper? Looks a little rough along the edges and sides, but not so bad overall.

Idea

Good job but the stars look to uniformed. I would have used different sized stars placed randomly but dope stuff anyways

You get 2 for being original. You may have just started a trend.

Good job! Looks good but I personally wouldn't have placed the stars in an organized pattern...IMO it would have looked cooler if they were placed at random but you get a from me!!!
