Does anyone have any idea why this 1990 automatic Prelude won't start unless you pump the accelerator and it is fuel injected it then runs ok until you put it in gear.Have taken it to quite a few Mechanics but still no good.

 

Well you can start buy checking the fuel filter. Take it out, and blow on it, the direction the fuel is supposed to flow, and if it's hard to flow than you have a bad fuel filter, and replace it, it might be your problem.

 

^ Might be a problem with your fuel injectors as well. Have you ran a cleaner through them?
