introduction--didnt see another place.

whats up everyone, i have browsed the site for a while. i just bought a 92 vx hatch and it has a few problems so i will be on here quit a bit, but i know to search first. the first thing i want to ask is, when the CEL is glowing is the vtec disabled?? cuz i dont feel the vtec engage at all. i know to pull the codes, but i havent really had time yet. thanks in advance, and hope to get to know everybody.

Welcome here man! I browsed the site for over a year before signing up so I know where you're coming from. As for the cel thing, the ecu can disable the vtec solenoid if there is a problem somewhere that vtec could worsten. It may also be that the cel is because there's a problem with y0 vt4ck!!

I never really saw the point of an Introduction thread for a board with 170,000+ members, but welcome aboard.
