I am putting together a lsvtec. I have a b16a head and i want to put in b18c cams. But some one said that the b16 cams would probably be better. Can anyone back this up? I heard that putting in the b18c cams would add maybe a few hp.
what year b16 head do you have, i ask b/c ive heard older year b16 cams are not as agressive as newer but regardlesss everyone ive spoke with who used b16 cams are always looking for better cams or just looking to get b18c cams which im looking for a set right now
B18C/GSR cams are actually slightly better than any/all B16A cams. Si cams are OK though. You probably won't even feel a difference. You're better off with upgrading to a set of Type-R cams if you can afford them at this time, rather than toying with B16A and GSR cams...

I already have the gsr cams. And i dont have the money to buy itr cams and then buy the valves and stuff to be able to put them in. I wish i could. But I guess I will stick with the gsr cams. Even if i dont feel it, it should make a slight difference. thanks
