heather being ornery
Hey all, gotta problem.
So I get in my car a couple of days ago, and turn my heater over to full blast and the switch goes to fourth speed, and no fan comes on, followed by, of course, no heat either. It's cold up here and I have no clue what's up.
It was working just fine up until that day when I turned it on. I went to the junkyard yesterday and sourced another fan switch from a junked hatch, tried it out and nothing happened. This could mean both switches are bad, or that the switch isn't the issue at all. I took my glove compartment out today, just in case someone tips me off to what else could be wrong. I figure it's the blower motor. I know for a fact it's not a fuse. It's a 30A fuse, and I plugged the spare one in for good measure so that's not it either. The heat isn't the big issue it's the fact that I can't defrost the freaking windshield after it rains or frosts over. which sucks profusely.
Im about to get my hands on a voltmeter, but until then, any suggestions would be well appreciated. oh yeah, the thermostat shouldn't be the problem because the car is running the same temp. and it was replaced a year or so ago when I swapped the motor in. peace.

The blower motor is probably bad..
Sometimes you can lightly tap on the bottom
of the motor and it will start working again for a short while..
