what to do with pcv hole in b18b valve cover?
ok i got a 96+ valve cover for my car but the block is a b18a and the head is from a b18b what do i do now with the extra hole for the pcv? how would i block off the hole in the valve cover? any help would be appreciated. thanks
i have the same situation you do. I actually have a pcv valve in the hole but have the end taped up with electrical tape.
That way no air escapes and it doesnt look to out of place. i'd like to know what other people do also!

try to find a rubber gromet or plug at home depot or lowes that fits the hole. Or you can drill out the inside of the pcv, put it back on the valve cover and connect a hose on it and run it to a catch can.
you can have my old clogged one and just shove it in there. If that doesn't work you could just spot weld a cover on it.

Lol 9 year completely off topic necro bump...
But no, they are not correct at all. The evap purge solenoid hose is supposed to run to the charcoal canister. The nipple on the intake manifold is supposed to be connected to the pcv valve on the valve cover.
Even if you couldn't start a new thread you could have google image searched how an original b18 evap system is setup.
