It's been about 6 months since I installed the frame locks on our (my wife's daily driver) 93 EX coupe. I'd been wanting to try these out for awhile but they only had them for EK's in the past. When they made some for the 92-95’s I ordered some. After some of the best customer service I've had to date, the frame locks got here and I went to my buddy's house to install them. The problem was, I had forgotten the instructions at my house and I had already taken the bumper off the car, so I decided to give it a try without the instructions (instead of driving 30 miles each way). I don't recommend doing that but I have a lot of experience working on cars and I was able to figure it out. It was a little tricky at first but after a few minutes I got the idea and the pieces went on the car easily. The drill bits included in the kit went through the metal like butter. Pretty much, I had no problems or snags with the installation, and about an hour and a half later everything was back together and I was off for a test drive. I have to say I was quite happy that everything went on nicely and without taking up half my day.

Now that we’ve have had them on the car for a while, I definitely notice a difference when I'm driving it. The car feels solid. There are a bunch of railroad tracks near my friend's house that shake the car pretty good; riding over them before the frame locks were on the car didn't feel so good. Now the car feels much better going over the tracks. My wife thinks so too, she drives that car a lot and says that she really likes the way the car feels now compared to before the installation. She says she feels an improvement with everyday driving. The frame locks give the car a much smoother ride, and it feels more rigid when you go over bumps or dips in the road. This car is lowered with Skunk2 coil-overs and Koni's which really didn't translate into the smoothest ride, but now with the frame locks, the car definitely feels better on the road. The steering feels great too...the word that keeps coming to mind is SOLID.

I've been autocrossing for years and I wish I could put these on my Street Mod EG Hatch but SCCA doesn't allow them in my class. They are considered a chassis stiffening device so that’s a no go for my SM car.

I'm the type of guy that's always looking to improve the "ride" of my cars and these frame locks make the car feel better. The installation was not difficult; I did it minus the instructions so I'm sure that someone without as much experience working on cars as me would still be able to do it without incident. I am also impressed with the guys at Korbach, the customer service was great and they are genuinely interested in getting real feedback about the product. All in all, the Civic rides better with the frame locks than before them. I have another bone stock 93 EX Coupe that I picked up lately for a daily driver and when my wife gives me the choice I take her car every time
