Default oem o2 senser or universal?

I want to replace both sensors on the gsr..I went to autozone and oem was like $300+ and others that are universal like 60 something and 150-200.... Should i stay oem or it doesnt matter.....why such a huge difference in price?

Just the OEM plug is different. If you buy a universal one, you will need to reuse your OEM plug. It is well worth it for the price difference.

get the universal. there'll be instructions on what to do to connect up the universal. easy as just connecting a few wires to the harness off the old O2 sensor

You misunderstand. I'll gladly pay $50 for the universal sensor. It will take me 10 minutes to wire it properly. Hell, that's a $1200/hour skill.

you can go to autozone and get one for a little more than the cost of a universal that comes with the plug already wired on.

That is a good price for a plug and play sensor. From where are you buying it?

Its available directly from NGK:

The rear O2 sensor is still expensive.
