Default Installation of Cold Air

I know this is one of the easiest mods to do, but i want to make sure im doing it right. Can anyone give me a link to see what a person does to correctly install a cold air (with pics). Thank you.

uhh.... you put the pipe on then the filter. You cant really put it on any other way, it only goes on one way.

dont forget to fill the filter full of ice to get real cold air

*******************(this is a joke do not really put ice in your filter or you will hydroloc your motor)*****************************

gee, thanks, no really the pipe i have for my D16Z6 just seems too long (i know which direction it goes). Its a standard two pipe system that was made for a D16Z6 (or at least thats what it says).

well then there is no point on me even saying anything when ppl say its pretty basic or its fairly simple. Im not getting anywhere, all i want is a link, plain and simple.

hook 1 end up 2 ur TB and stick the other end into the little hole under ur stock air box and go under the car and put the filter on

it should be self explanatory. if its not, you were probably given the wrong intake. if that's the case you can try to exchange it with whoever you got it from, or get a hacksaw and make it fit.

move to iceland..... the is a cold air installation up there
mostly navy people but its an airforce base

don't be afraid to tackle projects/bolt-ons like this one

when the tedious tasks like tightening qnd keeping alignment of timing belts and tracing ecu codes come up you will be asking too many questions

best thing to do with something like this.... is jump in

takes 2-10 min with proper tools a screw driver and wrench to tighten bracket

Yeah, if all else fails just hacksaw it and make it a short ram, that will definitely fit, and they won't hydrolock.
