Default Gas tank deformity

Take a look at the pics below. I believe my fuel tank has an issue. Do you see it too? This is on a 99 Accord couple.

Yup, looks like it's been pushed up at least 1" to possibly 2" inches. Would certainly cause issues with that Pump/pickup/meter assembly (or also the venting system (which comes from the top also)) hiding in there

This is the continuation of your prior thread, right?

Right. I just want some more opinions on this. Some shops have looked at it, but no dealerships. I'm convinced that it's been damaged. There are no scrapes, and virtually no way for anything to hit it since it sits between those braces. I'm pretty sure it was crushed into that when I was rear-ended. The body shop just didn't replace it at the time. Now I have to find a way to relate my cutting out and hard restarts with this so the body shop can be held responsible.
