Default 8th gen Civic, Honda Factory Performance, DC5-R rims

first of all, i'd like to say this,

NO COMMENTS ABOUT "I think it looks ugly STILL" etc..

I've already read enough of you people that don't give a **** about the 8thgen, well i don't give a **** about YOUR opinion on the 8th gen, i've already read them em all..

so this 8th gen is a civic EX w/HFP lip kit

so heres the run down, i chopped some OEM DC5-R rims (in silver/gunmetal) to keep it simple, yet "R" type status, or whatever you want to call it.. i call it, HFP Accessories (cuz i have the badges that i'll be putting on that they didnt do this gen )

btw, for those who are just interested in knowing, that list on the pic... this is my goal to have at least all 3 done by the end of this year witt the HID Retrofit in place as well

**warning** - I tried the best with my chop...

EDIT: More slammed pics on page 3

Silver DC5R's? What color is your car Silver?
I think a dark rim to offset the Silver would be hot, then again Silver on Silver is classic.

I love the 8th gen Civics, expletive what the haters say. It looks sexy with the optional kit, no spolier and slammed.

No a fan of that ugly SI wing, the trunk lip is a nice touch though on the non SI's

If the DC5 rims go right on, by all means go for it. 8th gens are sick and have tons of potential

I like the silver on silver. Thats what I did on my S2K. Will the DC5R wheels have the right offset for the new Civic? It seems to me like their new wheels are slightly dished and have a different offset, but I could be wrong.

there is a drag spoiler made by siebon, its in CF, but i think if it was paint matched, it was set the balance of the rear end off and make it look sick... now having owned it.. it doesn't look AS bad as when it first came out... but thats just me *shrugs*

EDIT: here is what i'm talkin about

still can't get a real good feel for it with this riced out 8th gen, but i think once you see pictures of it done RIGHT, i have a good feelin about it...

EDIT:::: also to address the offset.. i think there is a slight issue with it giong on the civic, not sure though haven't quite done the research, but i'm sure there is definately something you can do about it htough

This is suprising... Everyone I've talked to loves the new generation. I've even heard the push-rod guys talk about how slick they are...

What have you heard people saying about them?

I love them b/c they actually look like a 'real' car. Not just a civic anymore...
This bad boy would be right at home sittin next to a TL or RL. The civic is finally growing-up in my eyes.
