Default help! what component is wrong in this pic (easy if u kno)

b18a block, b18b head, I don't know what the brackets are from, but obviously they don't match up with the pump. If I put both mounting bolts in, the pump would sit at an angle, and it doesn't have the right amount of adjustability. I don't know what the pump is from either, but I suspect 90-93 integra, because it has the v pulley, not the flat multi ribbed newer style.
I thought all the ls brackets were the same, which one is incorrect? do I have the gsr upper bracket? Thanks for any help...

p.s. Does the fluidampr only come with one style of pulley on it, so that I have to get a 94-01 p/s pump?

are you sure the pump is off an integra?
i am 100% sure that the top bracket is from an LS, which differs from the gsr bracket, so that is not the problem. i am pretty sure that all integra lower brackets are the same, so that shouldnt be the problem either, which would lead me to believe that the pump is not from an integra. probably a d-series?

doesnt look like a b-series pump...a picture from the top of the engine would be helpful to you, look at another LS pump on a freinds car or something and see if it matched

My friend who gave it to me said it was a b series pump..and it looks just like the integra ones on ebay..
I know the 2 brackets don't match each other. If you look at the pic, the slots that allow for belt adjustment are not the same length on each bracket. I just don't know..damnit..it sucks piecing together **** from random parts. Almost every part on my engine was from a random collection of parts at my friend's house, except the gsr crank, eagle rods, and endyn pistons.

if it wasn't a b series pump, would the power steering hose still fit perfectly?

The v-belt and the ribbed brackets are different, the vbelt ones move the pump a bit to the right in comparison to the ribbed one. I also just discovered that the bolt pattern on the ls and vtec brackets are different.

no, they're not. i tried to use my LS upper bracket on my gsr head, but it made the pump sit too high, so i had to order a gsr bracket.

I have a b16 head, and my b18B bracket will not bolt up to it, that is what makes me think the vtec and non vtec upper brackets are different.

well, ****. I plan on getting a fluidampr anyway, so I guess I'll get the matching pump, brackets and bolts from a 94+..

Thanks for the help, guys

I'll have to post up pics, but if I try to bolt up my LS bracket to the B16 heat the spot for that grounding bolt on the head gets in the way, and the two bolt holes are too close togethor for both bolts to go in anyways. It might be bacause I am using a JDM B16A1 head and the powersteering system for this engine was Vband. What I have to do to fix this, and what the origonal poster may find himself doing is I have to use the Vband brackets (which put the pulley for my powersteering pump about a 1/4 of and inch too far to the right to line up with the crank pully) and grind them down so everything fits up nicely.

I can't hold the brackets side by side because I don't feel like taking out the upper bracket, but you can clearly see the misalignment on the pully, and the hole in the bracket for the adjustment bolt (the one with the wingnut) isn't even close to the hole in my power steering pump.
