Default JDM d15b with cx tranny

does the cx tranny make it acclerate slower or does it rob and hp? any info would help

the cx tranny is meant for the best possible gas mileage and economy.........long gears = not so good accelaration

Do you even need to ask? Gearing is how you multiply torque to output to the wheels. How else would a torqueless Honda even be able to keep up with traffic? Yes, its going to make a BIG difference on acceleration.
