Default would type-s pistons be worth it...

I'm about to do my H22 swap into my 92 Si and was wondering if the Type-S pistons would be worth purchasing. I've found them for $380 w/ rings. Later I plan on putting in some Skunk2 stage II cams and their springs/retainers and was just planning ahead because I know higher compression will make a bigger difference with some cams that breathe better. So do you think an extra $380 now would be worth it? And if you have any place you know that sells them cheaper than $380 new than let me know also. Thanks!

if u are going allmotor then i would get them...i think http://www.jdmhondaparts.com has them for cheaper...if u use these pistons, u won't need to sleeve your block...forged pistons u will most likely have to sleeve it

a jdm h22 is 10.6:1, is .4 going to make a $400 difference though? or would i be better off saving that $400 and adding a vafc when i do my cams and stuff or maybe even use that $400 and apply that to a p&p job when i do my cams. choices choices

ohh...i thought u were talking about the USDM H22A...no i wouldn't buy them...just save the money for a VAFC or cam gears...if u are getting skunk2, then i would definitely get the cam gears

is it only the pistons that give the real type s motor 11:1 compression or is it also the different head gasket ?
