Default low speed scraping noise

Alright so heres the deal... I have a 95 gsr and needed a new clutch. I got it replaced at inlinefour out in stanton. I bought the Exedy stage 1 kit from them which has a similar feeling to the stock clutch. When the replaced the clutch, they told me that both my cv joints were blown, and so they charged 200 for the pair. It was about a 30 mile trip back to my place and right after I got off the freeway I heard a scraping noise. The noise sounds somewhat like bad brakes. The noise is also periodical as if something was warped. It has a metal on metal kind of sound to it. And it only comes in on speeds below 20 mph. After that its gone. Has anyone had this sort of problem before?

Note: The only things repaired were the clutch and cv boot and the axle was pulled down in the process.

Thanx for the help.

Oh my bad. I forgot to add that i have new pads on already and I just resurfaced my rotors two weeks ago. Would the dust plate behind the rotor make a noise like that? Or is there anything else?

Did you ever find out what the noise was? Because I am having a similar noise in my 92 honda (automatic). My mechanic has thoroughly checked the brakes three times now and cannot find the problem. It has gone from an occasional grinding sound when braking.. to this weird swishy/metal noise. Where the sound matches the speed. When at low speeds its the loudest.

It sounds a bit like scraping sometimes, and like swishing at other times. It is driving me crazy because my mechanic does not know what it is either and I would like it to stop!

Thanks. Just going crazy here... I need my car to last a few more years..

Check your brake rotor for runout. If the hub face is not clean, the rotor will wobble.
