hey whats the best way to get my chrome window trim from chrome to black? paint it? if so what kind of paint would be best? i know the DX models come with black trim but is that something that can be changed relatively easily?

Thanks

I'd swapped the DX black trim over.
Just to avoid the trouble of sanding and painting.

I'm gonna do this the summer. The hard part is masking off the whole car and leave only the trim showing.

are you suggesting using that to cover the chrome? or to use to tape my car off to paint it? for spec bb6: how hard was it to swap the dx trim? how much did you pay for it? for the painters: what kind of paint did you use? gloss black? flat black? anybody have pics of finished product or long term results?

It shouldnt be that hard though. The best thing you can do is try to find a place where to download or buy the Manual Repair for your car, it should have a detailed information on how-to do it.
