Okay, I know that nearly everyone out there hates the '90 & '91 Accords b/c of the automatic seatbelts, but quess what... I have one!
Generally, I have no complaints, but for some reason, while I am driving the seatbelt light will start blinking and beeping. The real problem is that there is nothing wrong with the automatic seatbelt system!
Here are all of the observations I have made about it:
*the seatbelts do operate as they should;
*the lap belt is engaged;
*disengaging and reinserting the shoulder strap does NOT clear it;
*occassionally switching the vehicle off and restarting WILL clear it;
*opening the door WILL clear it (as long as I keep the door open);
*2 technicians have looked at it and cannot figure out the problem;
Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!!
