about how much to get a bent valve guide fixed at machine shop???

have a bent valve guide... wondered if anyone has had one fixed at a machine shop/how much??

you don't fix a bent valve...you replace it. 10-20 bucks per valve..depends on what they charge

its the valve guide thats bent. not the valve

Are you sure about that? They don't typically bend.

I would as a machine shop. Its a bit tricky if I recall, and it is very, very uncommon. I'll sell you one if you'd like (for a B16A). Bought one because I had a valve that wasn't sealing, thought it might be the guide. Turns out it wasn't.

Only one? Weird... Usually it's when the timing belt is ligned up wrong that causes valves to bend and when it does it *** rapes the whole upper portion of the engine (all the valves)
