im looking to ditch the dc and just swap over suspension and motor into an eg, but one of the big things im worried about is the shifter feel after the swap. the dc shifter feel is very solid and i really love that in a car. i used to drive an ef and occasionally an ek (totalled, look in classifieds for possible part out, dont know yet tho). the problem with the ef and ek was the shifter was very sloppy and i assume itd be the same on the eg's, but idk how its going to be after a swap...


***basic quesion: if i swap my ls motor into an eg will the shifter feel like i was in the dc? if yes, ill probably be in an eg this summer... if not, would stiffer bushings solve the problem?

 

did my swap like about 6 months ago. the shifter feels the same. it came from my cuz's dc2. but if you like it stiffer, bushings will help.
